Vladimir Lenin was to say that lamps hanging from the ceiling are unnecessary luxury, as bare bulbs give equally good light. One look at the shop displays or galleries’ expositions can give the impression that designers truly believed in Lenin’s idea. Usually there are only spots of light in the ceiling, rails with nothing but bare bulbs with rusty transformers or huge “coffee can lookalikes”, at most.
Although Froginjar lamp has a similar tubular shape, it is made of the transparent glass with transformer hidden inside, which gives a sublime sensation of lightness.
